Exactly the same comment I was going to make. There was nothing explosive about McCarron at all.

Any list like this is just silly and bound to have bias in it. This one could be picked apart for any number of reasons, but zero Tennessee players and NINE Oklahoma State players being in the Top 100 is enough to dismiss it completely.

CP should easily be on the list. Yeah he was on a horrendous team but that dude made magic happen so many times with the ball in his hands.

Honestly, in last 10-15 years I have not seen anyone so dynamic with ball in their hands like Patterson .. both in NFL and college level .. the problem is that is his only trick .. still have gotten a decent career out of it ..

I agree about McCarron baffling choice. But the one thing that everyone on that list has over all of them is they played multiple years and put up a lot more highlights. Even those highlights encompass 4 of his 12 games as a vol. against 4 meh teams. The 3 games he showed out the most in? We lost, to Vandy (Dooley was fired) and Miss State. We went 5-7 that year....the reason he stands out so much because he was the singular highlight to a terrible team and season. We had to savor that NC State win all season and into the next because the only other actual football team we beat was Kentucky. The other wins were buy games. Ga. State (their second year of playing football EVER), Akron, and Troy.

CP was a very electric player for the short time he was here and has been exciting in the NFL as a returner.. But I think people overblow him a lot.

He showed out against Georgia and Missouri too. He had over 1700 all purpose yards and 10 TDs in his one year here. Wasn’t his fault the team sucked, and he showed enough for the Vikings to pick him in the 1st round.

I checked the account. It’s an Oklahoma State fan, if you can believe it.

Ironically said that people who don’t like the list need to expand their ball knowledge and that their favorite team isn’t special.

What other Vols should be on the list besides CP? Cobb/Webb, Jamal Lewis? Pickens, Gault, Kent, Dobbs, Kamara, Hendon, Hyatt, just to randomly name a few. Certainly many more that should be listed above McCarron, Lock and others towards the bottom of the list.

all could be on the list and ahead of CP and especially macaroni.

Great names on that list but how is Peter Warrick not on there? Ahman Green.

Emmit Smith but no Fred Taylor?

Peyton Hillis and Cam Skataboo haha.
A ton of Oklahoma State players

Karen Lacy??

Randy Moss and Percy Harvin in the 90-100?
Those two might be the best college football players period.

Terrible list.
