Local kid for me, is related to UT’s Carlos Groves. Very talented family, multiple D1 players in this generation. Watched him play in person, he was at an obvious physical advantage over his opponents, would man handle kids when he wanted to. Took plays off, but also made plays when they were needed. It will be a tough transition for him from 1A to SEC. Hopefully he sticks around and plays the long game.

During this same game, I recall Shaq was stopped down low, and passed the ball to himself off the backboard.
Dale had fire but damn that was crazy watching him come all the way out to assault Carlus. I believe Carlus was standing near our FT line at the time of attack?

Taylor Groves went to Ole Miss as a safety now plays basketball at Vol State and is averaging
19 ppg there.

Elijah Groves LB signed with Kentucky

Zach Groves is a beast DE that has committed to Tennessee.
