Is there a crossover between brackets?

I don't think so but may be wrong.

Luck of the draw type thing.

Same ole song and dance for a CKW coached team. We have one great pitcher but we can’t hit the ball. We have players that can slap at the ball but are not a legitimate hitter to knock it out of the park. At this level, we need a couple of players that can hit the ball out no matter who is pitching.

We have three of our best hitters in slumps yes Boo, Fielder, and poor Taylor is not seeing the ball at all. Hopefully they all snap out of it. BUT what most are forgetting is we faced Bahl all weekend and love her or hate her she is right there with Karlyn and Canady as the best in the game. If our D plays like it did Sunday then we are in business cause we don't need to score a lot of runs {would be nice}.

I'm basically an optimist but our bracket is embarrassingly loaded. I feel good anytime Karlyn is on the mound but we're going to need a little more run support to lower fan stress levels. I believe Karlyn silenced the worries about her arm and stamina. If we can stay out of the loser bracket, we play every other day which would put us in a very good position to get to the finals. Championship finals are played on 3 consecutive days. Barring injury and illness, I believe we have the pitching covered.......

Jackson 24 - you joined us in December and glancing at you previous posts You are not positive on either TN baseball or softball, both of which have been ranked # 1 this year and one was NCAA winner last year and this year one is in the final eight.

Most of us would recommend an opposite approach to yours - celebrate, enjoy and feel fortunate the TN teams are doing so well. If you can't appreciate the joyous response of the softball team after winning a great game 1-0, then I'm honestly sorry for your disposition. Join us, we are cool, at least some of think so.

This should be one of the more open WCWS in several years. Nobody has been completely dominant this year. Every team in the tournament is beatable on any day. I lived in the OKC area back when they had to get volunteers to help manage the tournament and not too many people cared about it. That has completely changed and it is a premier event each year. I am looking forward to seeing who comes out on top.

You need to re-evaluate your knowledge of women's fastpitch softball.

Can we win the NC the way this team is built? Have we won one yet? All I’m trying to say is CKW’s teams are not built to win it all.

I hope I’m wrong but so far over the last 20 years we get here but can’t hit. Nice pitching always but just can’t hit enough in the big games.
