I was thinking about this a few days ago. KP is the biggest name on all of Rocky Top I believe... in ANY sport. With Zakai graduating (grad transferring?) and Nico blowing out, I don't think there is a bigger sports figure on campus now. Football has no superstar at the moment, WBB not really, BB stars gone, Baseball stars all left (there is Ensley). This says a lot about her accomplishments.

Is there any athlete bigger than her right now?

Not that Karlyn Pickens shouldn’t be recognized as an absolute star but Liam Doyle is projected to be selected top two or three in the MLB draft. He was also named as a finalist for the Golden Spikes Award.

A good portion of the fanbase couldn’t tell you who Karlyn is. Not a knock on her, but a knock on fans who view the women’s game as lesser.
