The purpose of this thread is NOT to post or gossip about players' personal and social lives--just basketball and team building.

It's intended to be a convenient, one-stop news & information thread devoted to which LV players have arrived on campus and are into their workout program, hitting the court together, learning about each other's games, and getting a head start on what they need to learn about the system and basketball in the SEC.

Of course, as soon as we begin offering opinions, the convenience part is lost! But it's gonna happen.

So let's try this to preserve the convenience aspect:

When you have news or facts to report about a player arriving in Knoxville for the summer, or how they are doing (basketball-related) since arriving, would you simply make the first sentence of your post BOLD & ORANGE, so that readers in-a-rush for updates can quickly scan the page and avoid the (always informed and brilliant) opinions and arguments?

The freshmen are scheduled to arrive June 16th and somewhere in that time period is also when Coach Caldwell is returning from her leave. So not expecting much for another 11 days.

Thanks for some solid news.
Would you mind "making it convenient" for subsequent posters? At some point in the summer, this thread will have pages of posts, tweets and opinions.

Just ordered 2 tickets for the NC State game so those ticket sales are starting.

Discussions of ticket sales are so important they deserve their own thread!

UConn started this week with all of their players. I don't think Coaches can really do much, so if that is true then the team should be able to practice by themselves without Kim. It is very confusing what you can and can't do, so this is my understanding. Wouldn't be surprised if I were wrong.

I think they have to be on campus by the 16th (a Monday), so I'd expect them to start arriving the weekend prior. So, maybe we'll see some news a few days earlier.
