I have a theory. About why Tennessee is seen as the bad boys of college baseball. College baseball antics have been wild for awhile. I think it makes the sport the best imo. I like seeing Liam Doyle Call a batter a “f’n pussy” before he strikes him out. I even like the wake forest coach calling Fischer what he did, before Fischer made him eat his words, and hit an absolute tank. Maybe I’m F’d in the head idk. But my theory is Tennessee has been THE baseball program for the past 4-5 years. And I think because of that Tennessee as a program has been the poster child of what college baseball has become. Tennessee and Tony V didn’t start it. They were just the program everyone saw, cause they kept winning. It’s not a nice a game. It’s a nut up or shut up game. Maybe it needs to change, but I don’t think what Tennessee was doing in say 2021/2022 was any different than other programs. College baseball has gotten out of hand for awhile, and personally I don’t want it to change, but I also think media people need to stop talking about us like we’re something different. The only thing that’s different about us is we win and they have to notice. As far as watching college baseball… they do not
