True story ... Once I put my small grocery list on a yellow sticky note, and stuck it the middle of my steering wheel. Just before the store, it started to unstick and almost fall off. I pounded it back into place, with horn honking ... with a biker right in front of me. NO! He gave me a mean look ... but allowed me to live another day.I made the mistake of laying on my horn at the car in front of me on campus one night.
The driver of that vehicle was Dale Jones.
Honestly, it won’t be too hard to be better than Nico if has 7/10 talent for this level. If JA is one of those QBs who can really get in a groove with his receivers, this offense will be perfect for his talents. Neither Nico nor JoeM managed to do it.
It also helps to have great awareness.
Hooker did it. He had it between the ears and with his teammates. He could see or predict an advantage develop against a defense pretty quickly.
Not really related, but speaking of encounters with big dudes, one time I was peeing at a casino in Tunica and looked over and the man next to me was the largest person I’d ever seen. It was Lou Ferigno.I made the mistake of laying on my horn at the car in front of me on campus one night.

Your story is more relevant, and entertaining, if you say you accidentally peed on him.Not really related, but speaking of encounters with big dudes, one time I was peeing at a casino in Tunica and looked over and the man next to me was the largest person I’d ever seen. It was Lou Ferigno.
What a great Vol! Watching him help dismantle Testaverde & the 'Canes at the '86 Sugar Bowl is my favorite UT football memory. That night was electric.Dale was on Doug Mathews show this morning. Dale said JA “could make all the throws & can run the ball effectively.” He added JA wasn’t afraid to make a throw.
Says he’s retired from coaching & still living in Boone.
We do have receivers running wide open. Overthrow Joe was who he was and Nico only performed well against lower teams. Managed but not spectacular. Hope JA can see the field. If JA is one of those QBs who can really get in a groove with his receivers, this offense will be perfect for his talents. Neither Nico nor JoeM managed to do it.

Mine too. It was supposed to be "a long night for the Big Orange" after Miami marched down the field on their first possession. Became a long one for the Canes. What a great Vol!
