Never know how much pain a player has to live with after an injury like that or if continuing to play means continuing to damage tissue/bones. Being able to walk relatively pain free is a pretty good incentive.

When I saw the replay of the injury, I thought his career was over at that point. Total dislocation break, that's gonna be a while to heal, and having the surgery he had, I still thought his career was over. I give him the utmost respect for playing last season, but he may have realized it was time to look for another dream. I think he would be a great wide receiver coach, so maybe he can catch on in that regard. Wish him nothing but the best.

I think he’s the most physical WR the Vols have had in years. Too bad he couldn’t have been his best during the Hookers years.
Yup. Am pretty sure he's the most physical dawg at WR we've had since Jauan Jennings, but Bru just had a bit less luck, injury-wise. 👍🥲🧡
