Recently watched OU replay, Bru was electric, they showed him as #8 WR in nation despite that terrible injury. By season end he retires from football. How bad that foot/ankle must be for him to abandon his dream, he played thru it all year. Bigtime courage and leadership Great respect.
Never know how much pain a player has to live with after an injury like that or if continuing to play means continuing to damage tissue/bones. Being able to walk relatively pain free is a pretty good incentive.

When I saw the replay of the injury, I thought his career was over at that point. Total dislocation break, that's gonna be a while to heal, and having the surgery he had, I still thought his career was over. I give him the utmost respect for playing last season, but he may have realized it was time to look for another dream. I think he would be a great wide receiver coach, so maybe he can catch on in that regard. Wish him nothing but the best.
Since Jennings. Played a bit more within the confines of the rules than Jennings did, though. Jauan was/is a football terrorist in the eyes of opposing defenses.
