I went twice in college. It has been a long time. Probably going to make it back there this fall. Anyone know all the visiting team sections?

My advice is to make a T-shirt with a picture from the sweet 16 game that has the final score on it and wear that to the football game, because all those people are gonna talk about is basketball. Also, that stadium is an absolute heap of trash And an insult to all athletic facilities on the face of the earth.

It is a cold place. The wind feels like it is hitting you from every direction.

I have been there 8 times. It was always really easy to get great tickets. Almost as easy as Vandy tickets. My first wife's bossy first husband was a UK alumni. It was tough being the stepfather to a Wildcats fan.

Haven't been to a game since 2013, except 2 bowl games. Dooley and the AD made me swear off actively supporting what was going on. I'll go back to Neyland someday.

I was at that game too. Terrible weather and ever more humiliating loss to Ky. I actually feared frostbite that day, I had no feeling in my toes or fingers. Stayed in the bathroom the whole halftime and left at the end of the 3rd quarter. I’ve been to several UK/UT games in Lexington and most of the time it was bitterly cold and the wind whipped through that stadium from all directions. Lexington in November is not a good place to be.

It’s like a natural law or something that Vandy and Kentucky games must be miserable lol. I have been there twice (2019/2021) and the atmosphere sucked. It was cold. It was dreary. I was surrounded by Kentuckians. But the outcome was good. Not great, though.

It’s kind of annoying to me how close the games have been there for a while. While I enjoy ripping the hearts of the BBN out in so many creative ways, I want to see some Big Orange beat downs again. We really need to go in there this year and remind them who their dad is again. Make sure to sit in sections 10-13, so you’ll be next to more Vol fans and less blue wearing, meth smoking, slack-jawed, toothless, hillbilly-yokel Kentucky fans.

Kentucky fans are seriously the worst btw. Beating them is so fun and never gets old.

Funny Lexington memory: Kitties were playing Vols tough & KY crowd was becoming vocal....then a guy wearing a Duke cap walked up the aisle & all those blue boyz started booing...they forgot all about Tennessee in remembering Christian Laettner. Tennessee won the game, of course.

I was there in 2021. Felt very cold, like a professional game or something. Not a lot of culture or character.

It was a wild game, back-and-forth. I had a Kentucky fan sitting next to me and we were having pleasant banter during the first half. Our defense finally stopped Kentucky and they turned the ball over on downs at our 26 yard line with 16 seconds left on the clock in the first half. I turned to him and said, “you guys left too much time on the clock”. He looked at me and chuckled. 15 seconds later, after a great drive by HH, we kicked a 43 yard field goal to end the half. I looked at him and said, “told you”. He didn’t look at me for the rest of the game.

The good guys won 45 to 42. It was awesome!
