Where is a good place to camp the weekend and tailgate in Atlanta at the Mercedes Benz stadium

Lol stop it. I live here in ATL. Plenty of safe places and since there’s a huge game the city police will be on high alert. ATL doesn’t play about that tourist dollar hence why we keep landing major events.

See about places directly across from the stadium but it’s doubtful since much of that space will be used for parking. However If you face the stadium from across the street and look left there’s a bunch of space for RVs and buses. On the same side of the street the stadium is on next to the Georgia world congress center.

You need to call around to see if you can rent a spot. Hope this helps.

Camp in Roswell and drive down early in the morning. There won’t be any traffic and you’ll be there in 30 minutes.

Cartersville Georgia has many RV camping sites or you could go to red top Mountain State Park, which is near Cartersville.

Red Top Mtn state park. Camped there before and it is not bad and not to far away.

I lived in the Atlanta area for 40 years. There is no place there I would camp.
