Clearly there's a lot of unknowns. It's easy to ask what's "concerning/worrisome" but it's not to be a negatively focused thread. So it's just the position you want to find out how good (or not so good) a position group will be. What you're first wanting to read about in practice reports/notes.
Nearly every position has questions, even if it's not the starters, there's still depth questions.
Here's my rankings from most concerned/intrigued to least:
1. WR
2. OL (I have a little more faith in them than WRs)
3. QB
4. Secondary (Boo and McCoy unknowns)
5. LB (depth quality)
6. RB
7. DL
8. TE
8. Specialists
I've been largely gone during the offseason so if yall have recently had a similar thread, muh bad.

Wide receiver is definitely the answer. High upside, but just completely unknown outside of Brazzell.

I think the O-Line is in good shape, except for center. There's talent, but essentially no experience (same could be said with RT). I think Heard takes a big step this year. There certainly will be some learning moments.

Obviously QB is a question mark, but I believe in Joey.

The O-line. Particularly the center and right tackle positions. IMO this is the single most critical position group to be ready to go come August 30th. If we dont get THIS right, it doesnt matter if the QB, the WR, and the RB position groups are!

I think Matthews is going to be a problem for defenses. I don’t remember which game but last year he made an incredibly athletic catch with a defender draped all over him. He’s an absolute stud. I think Staley is going to surprise due to his work ethic along with his talent. QB is the biggest question mark in my mind.

QB. A huge job ahead for Joey and Heupel to get Joey ready for our offense and SEC defenses.

The question I keep asking myself is: how much better are secondaries an SEC QB faces compared to secondaries a SunBelt QB faces? The answer I keep getting is: A lot better. Exactly how many SEC secondaries has Joey ever faced? Zero.

I believe Joey Aguilar has faced 2 top 25 teams in his career. He's a big question mark.

It's definitely who is going to be the holder. I mean, is he a Freshman or a 5th year senior, because it matters. If it's a 5th year senior, we traditionally let him run a fake FG for a TD! Opposing teams will have to watch for it all season extra hard if it's a 5th year...

Well you used the plural form of group, so I will go with my top 3 in order starting with most interested:

1) OL
2) WR
3) QB

Truthfully, I think if we have answers at the first 2, we will be fine if not more than fine at QB.

Next tier would be:

4) DL
5) Secondary
6) RB

1. OL (this is the year for Elarbee. No more Pruitt recruits. Time to see if he can develop his own guys).

2. WR ( another coach who needs his position group to take a major step forward. The WRs have been bad for two straight years. Time for Pope to prove if he has the development chops to match his recruiting).

3. Secondary as a whole. We don’t know exactly when McCoy is gonna be able to play. Not only that will he be the same guy athletically? We need to see much better safety play. Can Hood eel in and be a huge difference maker? Unknowns.

I will be watching WRs. I am really hoping Mathews looks good. He had 5 stars for a reason and is NFL quick (4.4 40 per UT). I am not sure why he and Nico never really connected, Mathews only had 7 receptions for 90 yards and 2 TDs in 2024, and considering he removed his name from the portal after Nico left makes me wonder if they were just a bad fit. I think if Mathews had the sophomore break out year and Brazell can stay healthy we have the potential to have like a Tillman/Hyatt one two punch.

1) QB, 2) WR, 3) OL, 4) S, 5) CB, 6) SP T, 7) LB, 8) DL, 9) TE

1 & 2 could swap, and 7, 8 & 9 could swap depending on the game.

Looks pretty split between QB, OL, WR.

What's interesting for me is that I'm definitely concerned about the offense as a whole because there are  so many questions, but I'm not super concerned about any particular position group, if that makes sense.
