Tidwell and Gilbert to the Giants

I had a feeling the Gilbert trade was inevitable.
He had done everything he could for promotion but couldn't because the Mets simply did not have a need in OF

I'm not sure Drew is a slam dunk major leaguer but now he can get a better chance. I believe he was not in the top-10 of Mets prospects.

NYM drated another CF last year that has been moving up quickly and is younger.

Drew needs to be more consistent in hitting to all fields.

The Mets are one of my teams, but I was hoping Gilbert would find his way out of that system.
Blade is just a pile of heat throwing potential.

Blade has All-Star written all over him. Especially in this era of baseball.

I loved Drew but I did not see his BA and power as MLB starter potential for most teams. Unless he takes the proverbial "next step"; I see him bouncing around. Like he's already done actually,

Don't get me wrong. He could start for my White Sox. But I'm sadly speaking about professional baseball.
