I just read practice reports from South Carolina and Georgia. You would think they could beat NFL teams right now based on those reports. Lol
same with OU...every 15 yd completion from Mateer is getting blown out of proportion and perfectly curated by their media team.

i watched him score 10 points against Wyoming about 10 months ago.

So does this mean all the so-called 'expert' predictions are wrong about the Vols being middle of the pack?

I say so.
i think they just are scared of what they dont know

i dont think media outside of Knoxville can name a dozen players on the team lol we know more about our team than they do.

I personally put little stock into anything media says until the 1st scrimmage is complete. Routes on air is just timing practice, little else. Nothing of importance is seen by the media. Coaches hold players out over very minor stuff because they don’t want it to turn into major stuff. As camp goes along and the hitting starts, contributing players are held out just to give their bodies a break. After the 1st scrimmage the pecking order becomes clear and coaches are pretty settled on the 2 deep.
