No i agree he didn’t but the media and ESPN loved some Nico they would’ve had us ranked in the top 15 or top 12 if he was still our QB. 24 is too low though i would have us around 15 or 16 we do have alot of questions and injuries especially on offense.

They had us at #15 last year in pre season and finished us at #8.

Those saying Illinois is misplaced may forget they too went 10-3 last year though in the B1G.

I'm ok with this. I'm cautiously optimistic about this team, they are replacing a LOT on offense. How will this team compare to last year's team, I don't think anyone knows the answer to that question.

Just win and the rankings will work out in the end.

24 seems about right to me. I think this season has a better chance of being rougher than expected vs better. Our offense could be one of Heupel's worst. Defense should be solid but they will be leaned on heavily. 6 or 7 wins wouldn't surprise me.

Let's be honest. We have a lot of unknowns right now. Our defensive expectations are probably the only thing keeping us in the top 25.
