What will it take to make you happy this season?

Vegas has UT at 8.5 so I built the poll around 9-3 and the 3 hated opponents.

I chose to beat UF on the road. We've had issues with in-conference road wins. UF is close to where we are in recruiting. We will not be favored against UGA, even though it is at home and I doubt we will be favored against BAma. Both those programs still out recruit us

It all depends on. I can be upbeat at 8-4 if we have injury but play good football on both sides but are just outgunned 4 games.

I’ll be bitter if we go 10-2 but get blown out by UGA and Florida in Gainesville. Like 56-20 Gators. 44-13 UGA.

We haven't won in Gainesville or Tuscaloosa in 22 years, haven't beaten Georgia in several years. Every year we lose an away game we shouldn't. How are we getting 10 wins?
By winning in Tuscaloosa or Gainesville. It’s gotta happen at some point. Why can’t it happen this year? And we’re not losing in Starkville or Lexington

Because Heupel has been building this team since the day he arrived and inherited a total garbage dump.

The defense has been steadily improving every season, although I do expect a small step back on D, I expect this offense to actually score points against SEC opponents.

If he can't get to 10 wins this year, it's time to move on to the next guy.

Too much money being spent in CFB to be ok with the status quo.

I hope you are correct

Depends on how you define Happy.

I would be happy if we beat our annoying rivals like Florida or Georgia. I won't be happy with 8-4 or 9-3 from that aspect. I would be happy if we won a Championship of some sort like the SEC or Playoff Appearance and win or wins.

However, if you are asking if I would be happy with the performance of the coaches and players if they go 9-3, definitely. We are in a rebuilding/tough spot. It would even be understandable at 8-4.

And who are you replacing him with. Saban?

We gotta beat UF. I am confident we are better than they are if we still healthy.

I would love to finally beat UGA, but I can accept losing to a more talented team, even if I think their QB wouldn't start for like 90 FBS schools.

Similarly, I feel like Bama could be really good or their QB situation could cost them 4 games or more in the regular season. But obviously they are tough to beat at home.

In short, 9-3 while beating UF would make me really happy in what feels like a transition year.
