What are some creative ways you can think of to raise NIL funds besides “talent fees” and ticket price increases?

I went to the “Night At Neyland” two years ago and that was fun. Doing events like that on away games could be a new revenue stream. I also would love the opportunity to run through the T. Most of us never get the opportunity to be on the field on game day. I’d pay good money to experience that. That way I’d be getting something in return for my money. Thoughts?

Need to think nationally...if Mike Keith turns out to be the play by play guy that everyone thinks and on par with John Ward, then I would pay to watch a game stream synced up to his play by play call.

Obviously there are probably implications with existing TV contracts, but would be a good revenue maker.

FWIW - I'm not a fan of letting people pay to run through the T on game day...that is an honor, right, and privilege that can only be earned.

I like that idea. Yeah I agree about the T but I’d still pay good money for it 😂😂

* 🍝 Spaghetti Dinner @ Lions Club
*Wine / Liquor raffle
* Charlie Brown kissing booth

But seriously, I think away game watches at the stadium (especially big SEC games) would be good revenue makers. Maybe have a downtown street party, invite whiskey/bourbon/Wine vendors out and charge admission. Stuff like that I think would be good revenue builders.

Good ideas folks. I wonder why none of this stuff has ever been done? I like the round up idea and I really think away game watch parties would be a hit

This has been done before….. Thunder Thornton got to do it back in the 90’s…. Rumor was a flat million.

Yep......that was the rumor. Him and his son or grandson if I remember correctly.

I was thinking more like $500 😂😂. I’ll pass on the million lol. I’d have a better chance of being a walk on

University of Tennessee president Joe Johnson and Chattanooga businessman John Thornton run through the "T" on Sept. 30, 1995, before UT's homecoming game against Oklahoma State. Thornton donated $1 million to the university and asked if he could run through the "T" in return.
