Because the other DBs outside of Hood have played so well??He needs to go. He’s single handedly given up 2 4th down conversions. If his family is going to keep up with the distractions and this is the type of on field play we’re doing to get there’s no reason to keep him around
If he had done all the right things in the off-season it would be chalked up as “it happens”. When someone that missed off season workouts is also getting lost in coverage and can’t take down a QB both on 4th down it’s not entirely off base to say the two are likely connected. I think the issues they’ve had with him are far worse than people realize considering the fact they’re not even letting him return punts. He’s just so talented and with being an East Tennessee kid they’re trying to give him every opportunity possible. At some point though the horse has to willingly drink the water he’s being led toHe’s definitely not played well. But it is too soon to draw conclusions on him. I don’t blame somebody for being frustrated though considering how he conducted himself this offseason

The secondary played well. Hood is another big time corner. Redmon and McMurray both played well. Didn't hear a lot about the safeties, that is a good thing usually. They gave up nothing deep, The only passes over 15 yards were against zone coverage.
You know he was lolYep looked like Farooq had a really good 1st game as starter. Will be interesting to see game tape from today IMO. Syracuse has a very creative offense and good play calling. One of the Safeties blitzed in the 4th quarter in the correct hole for the RB...perfect call by Banks...and the safety ran right past the RB headed the other way LMAO. I bet Banks was pissed
