Situational. He was always getting the ball on short yardage conversion downs.

Star stood out today. The good news is that all of our RBs have the capability to stand out and take over a game. Good problem to have.

The only knock on Bishop or Thomas is that they lack top end speed. Lewis has it. Not sure why his carries were limited.

Yeah they rotated them. They were all fresh. I do not know who is better nor do I car but used as a unit, that's a heck of a unit. GO VOLS

They all appear reliable. We'll go with the hot hand and try to keep them fresh.

Other top teams have multiple backs especially considering they get minor injuries due to the long season.

All were good. Defense appeared to be gased at the end though and Thomas took advantage. All three are really good RBs

Bishop had 1 run for 47yds, outside of that 1 run he averaged only 3.5/carry, Thomas was consistently getting good gains.

Lewis looks like an NFL back. Last year and first game so far he goes down after first contact. Star to me looked to be above Lewis.

Seemed like a feel thing… Star ran the best of any rb and they kind of let him get going in the 2nd half… I think every game will look different in the back field but almost always effective.

Sounds like Star came in and took advantage of everything the UT S&C and nutrition program had to offer. I honestly wasn’t very excited about that transfer, but he looks legit.
