Sometimes He closes a door but opens a windowI was frustrated, disappointed, downright ANGRY when they cut away from our 4 hour game and turned on the Bama game. I am now glad I got a chance to watch every minute of that game! Thanks ABC!![]()
I've seen us on the other side of that situation too though.Yep...like they've always done. But...ESPN hates us.
Dont care. They never do that when our game is coming on. They could have started the bammer game on ESPNews. They ended up sucking bad any way.I've seen us on the other side of that situation too though.
Honestly, if our game would have closer or we would have needed that past TD to win, they would have stayed with us.
As it was, game was won. We didn't need that last TD, so they followed the ratings machine...like most other things in college ball today, it's chasing the money.
They really need to figure this out. I can't be the only one that DVRs a lot of games, more often than not I miss entire quarters.
Did we all get to see the classy bama fans flip the bird to the cameraman late in the 4th ..Alot them bama tags will be removed on cars in Tennessee soonI was frustrated, disappointed, downright ANGRY when they cut away from our 4 hour game and turned on the Bama game. PreachFigure what out? They don't f***king give a rat's ass. I DVR every game and start delayed to miss commercials, halftime, and announcer blather. Never had to worry about that with CBS.
I'm no fan of any network, but when this deal was announced and everyone jumped for joy at no more Danielson, I said at the time we would live to regret the change. CBS, Danielson or no Danielson, valued the SEC and treated it with respect as the best league in CFB. To ESPN the SEC is just more product on top of all the other product they treat like garbage.
I said at the time we're going to miss Brad Nessler, the best PBP guy in network CFB, and now if we're fortunate enough to be playing big games we're going to be saddled with the self absorbed blowhard Tessitore or the SEC hating Fowler. I haven't watched anything aside from games on ESPN for going on 25 years, and I didn't think it was possible to hate the network any more. I was wrong.
