I believe Tennessee’s Transfer Portal Ranking was No 68 really? let’s just take an early peak at what we might have:
Joey Aguilar – a breath of fresh air from the moment he arrived on campus, he is actually an upgrade on a certain 5 * player. As an absolute gamer he must wish he had got to Knoxville earlier in his career
Daniel Hood - was so good last night that Josh Heupel will have a problem picking his first two up when McCoy and Gibson are fit, I didn’t see this one coming.
Josh Schell - Anyone who is on the Defensive Line better be prepared to play the way players dropped like flies so far.
Sam Pendleton - brought in as a Right Guard but may actually be even more important at Center as Satterwhite has surprisingly not locked it down during summer. So, in short, he is also versatile.
Amari Jefferson - the first team Wide Receivers have not concreted their places yet so Jefferson still has a chance although he may have bigger challenges to fight off from Smith and Jackson.
Star Thomas - nearly 900 yards last year was a clue, but it was the jinking and lateral movement that impressive me more, could easily gain the most yards this season from our strong Running Back room.
Wendell Moe - he epitomizes the term “doing the dirty work in the trenches” he also showed his versatility by moving effortlessly from Left Guard to Right Guard.
That is an astounding success hit rate for a team ranked as low as No 68, hats off to the coaches and the evaluators.
