Recently there seemed to be a contingent of posters who were of the opinion that Elarbee could not develop players he recruited.
Heavy reliance on transfers and Pruitt-era players were the foundation for this.

Well there is strong evidence now that this concern and talking point is not relevant to the 2025 squad.

In fact the shuffling of the line vs. Syracuse on game day showed the value of cross training players and Perry, Sham and others were outstanding.

I thought I would mention this as the Vol offensive performance was quite good and Elarbee’s recruits are an impressive factor in that success so far.

He’s a solid coach who’s becoming a better recruiter every year.

I’ve never had an issue with him.

We are missing an entire class on the OL and I think this is the first year his recruits have started. So, I get the concern, but I am more than happy to put it aside.

Perry is a beast and I am glad to see Umarov getting some playing time. Of course, it will be good to see Sanders too.

Elarbee has always made the most of what he has had. Glad to see the recruiting starting to pay off.

o line is a developmental position in an era of 5 and six year seniors. Every school has had multi year starters on the lines since athletes were granted extra eligibility. He has put together another well oiled machine this year and Pendleton and Moe were amazing gets out of the portal.
