I don't know about the rest of you, but I was really impressed with the way Edwin Spillman recognized the dynamics of the ball bouncing and resisted the temptation to pounce at it. For a moment, I was afraid that our two players would get in the way of one another and lose the chance to recover the fumble. Kudos to both of those guys for reading the situation just right and putting a TD on the board for our Vols.

I literally had the same thought… spillman could’ve dove on it I was impressed with the fumble awareness… that tells me this team is well coached because the moment could’ve been too big there for a young LB and I wouldn’t have even been mad… but to see that and then for Colton to scoop it so cleanly and coordinated shows great skill and it look routine like all them reps we see in fall camp videos paid off… very excited about this overall team.
