B1G has gotten better though and is now the more top heavy league between the two. B1G also feels like it has more National Title Contenders right now.
I meant from 2024. I don’t think it will be the case for MSU this season, but it sounds good as a rebuttal to this thread title. That's a huge exaggeration, but still a good win. Not sure MSU is SEC's worst. There aren't any bad teams in the SEC
B1G teams seem to benefit from scheduling. I don't think there is the same level of parity, top to bottom, in the B1G - so it is still like there are a few teams that are at the top - and the mid-tier teams that only play 1 of them benefit and look better than they really are.

Auburn beat Baylor, who beat the ACC regular season best record from 2024 also. This is quintessential SEC, really. May not have the best team in the country, but it’s still the most competitive league. This has been the case for the SEC for as long as I can remember, except for the Saban years where the SEC dominated on every way.
I believe that about Ohio State. I need to see more from Oregon though. They have a history of coming up short for some reason I don’t understand.B1G is like the SEC from 2012/2013 - 2021. It is really just 2 teams with a 3rd popping up every now and then. You mostly had Michigan (Georgia) and Ohio State (Alabama) with Penn State (Auburn) and now Oregon (LSU) in the mix. The rest are not that strong. However, I am not sure anyone in the SEC could beat Ohio State and Oregon right now.
The ACC invited them. They are a prominent University with good athletic programs and have a huge endowment, plus give them a segment of the DFW TV marketYeah. SMU was the highest ranked ACC team last season, before losing to Clemson in the conference championship. No idea how SMU ended up playing in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
I need to quit typing. I’m barely awake this late.
