A few long time, choice posters have stated and suggested the idea we have an easy SEC schedule. Couldn't be more of an out of touch observation. We've got Georgia, @Alabama, Oklahoma, @Mississippi State, @ Florida and Vanderbilt. Yes, Vanderbilt. Florida had a stinker loss at home today, but will likely very difficult at their place in November. One F'ing game at a time! Go Vols!

the SEC provides no one with an easy schedule. its why it is viewed as the toughest conference.

There will be a lot of upsets in the conference this year.. and next year gets even harder for everyone...

No Texas LSU Ole Miss or South Carolina. Instead, we've got Arkansas Vandy Kentucky & Miss State. Bama & Florida aren't really **** either. Georgia & Oklahoma make this a 2-game schedule. Pretty easy compared to what we could have.

Spoken like someone that doesn't understand top shelf competition. Those teams aren't really **** is your take?

If our players are thinking that ignorantly, we will lose a couple of those games. I have confidence Heupel won't allow that thought process to manifest with the players.

Our schedule seemed to stiffen a little today. Warmth in the loins of our schedule

I think maybe you missed the point of that post. The schedule could be a lot tougher because we don't play Texas, LSU, Ole Miss, aTm, or South Carolina.

Sports Illustrated has us with the 14th hardest SEC schedule

Phil Steele also has us at 14th

It's pretty simple, to be honest. The schedule isn't easy, but comparatively it could be a lot more difficult.

To start, posting a link to an SI article should be a bannable offense. I used to eagerly anticipate the arrival of the magazine. Lots of click drivel now.

Phil Steele? Yeah. Pretty good reference. It could definitely be a stronger schedule.
