Who else is more worried about this game now on the road probaly a night game with the cowbells ringing. Miss St. looks much improved this season. And if we lose to Georgia which is expected the Miss. St will be a must win if we expect to make the playoff again. Heupel teams also don’t play well on the road so yea i’m way more concerned about this game than i was in the preseason.

It’s complete BS that they use cowbells. The SEC rules say that fans cannot use noise making devices during gameplay IIRC. They use those bells to great effect when on defense.
Yes you are correct as stated for many years in the SEC rule book any noise making devices are banned from being used inside the during games. Yet they have been allowed to keep ringing their cowbells somehow thru the years they should be banned

Not me.

ASU isn’t the same team as last year.

I had MSU circled as that game this season where UT just comes out flat and lays an egg. One thing is certain. You better come ready to ball out every single weekend in this league. Any team in the conference can whip you now.....and yeah, even Vandy is a huge threat.

I'm considering going to the game, what is there to do in starkville or is it a place to just go to the game and get the hell out
My daughter is a senior @ State but I haven’t been to a game since 2008 - Fulmer’s last season. It’s a beautiful campus but not much around it - walking distance. You will see the traditional tailgating across campus w/ a lot of folks around Nobles Bookstore.

Most of the bars are 1-3 miles from campus, iirc.

You have every game circled each season as the one where UT comes out and lays an egg. We ain't ever beating Florida ... Bama and Georgia are too much for us ... Kentucky and Vandy are gonna surprise us ... and now Miss State joins Vandy as a "huge threat."

It's your schtick. But it's still defeatist and servile.

Shake out of it, man. This is no way to live your gecko life.

Go Vols!

I have a daughter at State as well. There are some restaurants & bars within walking distance of the campus now in the Cotton District.

Alabama and Florida look moe beatable. Oklahoma and Mississippi State look tougher. And Tennessee, with Aguilar being better than expected, may be better than expected as a team.

This is why preseason expectations and predictions are unwise.
