He's got a long way to go to earn this status, but Aguilar gives me some hope that he may become our Dalton Knecht of football, a late-bloomer who scrapped his way up the ladder to shine on the biggest stage with humility and with gratitude for the opportunity given him. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do this year.
Indeed. It's those guys that were discounted early on, kept competing, always trying to find a way and don't take anything for granted that seem to find a way to seize that opportunity when it comes along.
