Ethan Burg is arriving in Knoxville on Sept. 8, to join Tennessee basketball following the conclusion of Israel's run in the FIBA EuroBasket 2025, a source told Knox News.

The source requested anonymity because no official announcement has been made.

Burg is the final player to arrive to join the Vols, who now have all 15 players on their roster in Knoxville prior to the 2025-26 season.

The 6-foot-3 guard played 17 minutes in four games. He scored five points and had two rebounds in an 82-69 win against France. He was 2-for-3 shooting and 1-for-2 at the free-throw line in 11 minutes.

There are actually 16 players listed on the roster. Perhaps last year’s walk-ons are grandfathered in on the 13 scholarship plus walk-ons rule.
