Whether it be attending an unforgettable game, fighting with rival fans, your first game with your parents, or whatever, the UGA game has been part of our history for decades.

What's your best story from a UT / UGA game?

Ill start:
The hail Mary. I was stuck in traffic in Atlanta listening to the game on UGA radio. It was dark. UGA scored for the lead. All the cars around me were honking their horns in celebration. My phone was blowing up with texts from a Florida fan I worked with rubbing it in.
We all remember the incredible play. The Georgia announcers were so angry. I actually heard people cussing and yelling in cars close to me. After things settled a few seconds later a lone, proud car horn could be heard celebrating on I 75 north...and that was me. My Florida "friend" sent a one word reply to my text, "unbelievable".
Rode all the way home to middle tennessee with a huge grin on my face!

A friend and I decided last minute to get tickets, drop the Jeep top, and take the scenic route to Athens. We were in the middle of a Georgia section on the 10 yard line, maybe 15 rows up, when Jennings caught the Dobbnail boot. It was a glorious drive home that night.

My favorite memory is definitely the Dobbs to Jennings miracle. I've never been on such an emotional roller coaster. In a matter of seconds we went from Georgia fans all arpund me barking in my face to me just laying on the ground screaming at the top of my lungs in disbelief. The most amazing thing was the walk out of the stadium back to the car with my brother-in-law (who is a big Georgia fan) and it was absolutely nobody talking. It was like the whole stadium was in shock.

My 3 week old daughter slept through the first half in 2016, woke up during the comeback in the 2nd half, started crying when Foreman gave up the TD and then stopped when Dobbs and JJ saved us.

Worst. 1980. A family friend who was huge GA fan got me tickets in GA section about 15 rows up on 10 yard line. Dog fans kept yipping in first half about some freshman RB that Dooley wasn’t playing. Herschel let out of his cage in second half and the rest is history. Happened right in front of me. Absolutely brutal.
Best. 2015. Sat in sky box with Coach Majors. We were down 24-3 and came back and beat them 38-31. JM was a great story-teller!

And from the archives when I was but a lad.

1969. First game on artificial turf. Season opener. Jake Scott a GA DB who later played many years for Miami Dolphins ran a punt back and they were up 17-9 late in 4th. We put together a desperation drive and score on last play of the game to make it 17-15. With 0:00 on clock we go for two, make it and get the win I mean tie 17-17. Great memory.

The Pig Howard fumble. friends and I were in that section of the stadium, him coming to us. physically hurt hearing the call of a turnover. I think that was the biggest case of the size of the dog not matching up to the size of the fight in the dog.

the whole game was the loudest I have ever experienced. the blocked punt was bonkers, literally wasn't able to hear for a couple seconds after that.

The game when Kiffin turned Johnathan Crompton into an effective quarterback. It was wonderful watching the UGA fans leave early.
I was also at the game when we came back to lead with less than 2 minutes left. After shutting down their offense with a great pass rush led by John Henderson, Chavis decided to go into his famous prevent defense. Aauugh!
Saturday would be a great day to avenge that tragedy.

The 1994 game comes to mind for me.... Todd Helton completing a long 4th and 11, was major play.
I think that was Tod Helton's only career start, it made for a nice day in Athens.
Vols 41 uga 23.
Loved being in Athens that day.
Helton started 3 games in 1994. Georgia, Florida (31-0 beatdown of the Vols) and Miss St. He got banged up against FL. Injured early against MSU then Manning took over. Never took another snap and focused on baseball.
