pundits had us at 9th in conference.
we hadn't scored more than 17 against UGA in 4 years and beat that first quarter.
This is literally the first time since CJH has been here the offense has looked like his offense vs UGA


Im greedy and want more but win or lose this game has exceeded anything I could have honestly hoped for so far. pull of he win and it gets nuts and folks start putting expectations that make no sense on this team But f that bring em.

I love Heup but he lost this game by being too conservative after the sack and fumble and end of the game. Three straight runs up the middle after that fumble.

We’re just not an elite program. Elite programs always seem to find a way to wins games they shouldn’t have won. We should have won. Even Kirby said it, but elite programs win games. Bottom line.

I mean he also won it. You set the kicker up with a 42 yard field goal that is very good, it should be won. Also scored a ton of points and created a bunch of busted coverages

Edit: the kicker also immediately made that kick when pressure was lower, showing it was fine to be conservative. Just didn’t work out this time

You don’t play conservative against a team like UGA. He shutouts have tried to score a TD.

It's on Gilbert. You have to make that fg. Period. End of story. You're there for a reason. Make the simple ones. He had the game on his foot and he blew it. He gets the blame like JG or anyone else would get the blame when they blow it so badly with the game on the line.

You don’t ever trust a kicker to make anything. Heck I’ve seen good ones miss an extra point! We went conservatives as soon as we went up 21-7 and THAT lost us this game. Heup might not ever be a national championship level coach if he doesn’t make some big time changes. That play calling kept UGA in the game and we GAVE that game away. I’d rather have been beaten by 20+
