I truly just appreciate the journey Joey has had to get here and he is not taking it for granted. Seeing how proud his family is of him puts a smile on my face. I was really hoping we would pull out this game because he balled out and would have shot up the Heisman odds list. Would have been a blast running with that after what we went through in April.

We had not had a passing touchdown against Georgia since 2021. Joey tossed 4 of em today. He’s shown that if you’re going to sell out to stop the run then he can beat you. If you drop back we will run it down your throat. I feel good about the rest of the season even as much as this loss stings.
Good gosh, I hadn't realized it had been that long. Yikes.

Joey also had the most passing yards against Georgia under Kirby Smart.

Just imagine if he was a vol for spring practice and the starting wr corp wasn’t out the entire fall camp

This has to be one of the greatest coaching jobs in sec history

Joey threw for more touchdowns against Georgia than Nico threw against Oklahoma, Florida, Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia and Kentucky combined last year.
He threw as many touchdowns today as Nico has thrown all year. We scored more points than we did the past 3 years against Georgia. He can play at this level in this offense. Heupel needs the sort of cajones that Aguilar has.
