Honestly, it’s going to be rough to get 12 SEC teams into the rankings with next weeks slate.

Auburn would have to beat Oklahoma for one.

South Carolina and Missouri play each other, meaning either those 2 flip or South Carolina gets pushed much further down the “also receiving votes” section.

It’s possible to get Mississippi State in, but other than a strong showing against NIU, it’d probably need East Carolina to upset BYU, SMU to beat TCU, and South Carolina State to beat USF.

Very reasonable…still a month or two away from the polls having any real meaning. I thought South Carolina was good this year but they got flat out trucked by Vandy. Clemson is another overrated team getting exposed. Texas may be as good as their ranking but they don’t have too many challenges - at Florida (but the gators may be under .500 when they play), vs Oklahoma and then at Georgia in November…

we just need to win the games we’re supposed to win…this team can win 10 regular season games if we eliminate mistakes and inconsistent play
