Obviously a lot of ball left this season but after what he did to Georgia’s secondary on Saturday I don’t think this is a crazy take. They had no answers for him.

In just three games, Brazzell already has more yards than last season and has doubled his TD’s.

He also currently ranks 2nd in the country in yards and tied for 1st in TD’s.

Could another Biletnikoff winner be brewing in Knoxville?

I remember being extremely impressed by his tape at Tulane and his practice highlights from camp last year. Then the season came around and he was a no-show outside of the game against Alabama. If he can keep this up he's definitely a 1st round caliber talent. There aren't many 6'5" WRs that can run like him with ball skills.

It's also a pretty weak year at WR, with no clear cut no 1 guy coming into the season, other than maybe Jordan Tyson at AZ St. That helps to bump him up as well.

So far it has taken Wrs a year in the CJH system before they hit their stride. Thornton's 2nd year was much better, although he couldn't stay healthy. We all know what Hyatt did his 2nd year. All 3 of the WRs are in their 2nd year and all 3 are balling out. It may be our most talented trio yet by the end of the season.

Say what you will... Until some of these WR's start producing in the NFL, they'll be labelled as "system" guys. We have a few in the league now, but none seem to be lighting the world on fire. Hyatt doesn't even play. I hope Tillman and Thorton can change that narrative.

Winning the the FB award doesn't actually guarantee success at the next level. It's awarded for the best season by a WR. Clearly Hyatt wasn't THE BEST player at that position. If we can make the playoffs and Brazzell has a great year, I couldn't care less if he wins that award

Rat poison, Brazzell. Pay no attention. For every person who thinks you're draftable, there are 10 experts who think you never sniff the NFL. They don't believe in you. They doubt you. You're too small, too slow, don't understand defenses, and only look good because of the mistakes of defenders. Some of your own fans say you're a "system qb" anyway.

The inept QB play in the passing game had something to do with last year.

What Jalin Hyatt did here in 2022 was incredible, but that guy was not going to be a productive NFL receiver regardless of what system he played in in college.

As far as skills as a WR, he really only brings one big one to the table, which is straight-line speed (and he didn't run the 40 as fast as you'd think at the combine either). He isn't a great route runner and doesn't have great quickness/make guys miss ability. Doesn't have good size either.

I think the label of "system guy" is a unfair sometimes, but unfortunately I think it was right with Hyatt. His success was a function of Heupel's offense creating matchup issues on the outside between him and a safety.
