QB Comparison: 10 Years of Georgia and Kirby

No surprises in the data:



Some interesting data points:

• Aguilar has the most yards against a Georgia team in ten years
• Aguilar has the second highest completion percentage
• Aguilar has the highest QBR since the 2016 win. The two ints hurt him.
• Team rushing was mid at only 125 yards. I believe if Tennessee had been able to find success on the ground, the results would have been very different and in Tennessee's favor

Through week three in stats (still early), and having played one good team (Georgia), one mid team (Syracuse), and one cupcake (ETSU):

• Aguilar Is ranked #2 in Yards/Game in the SEC in Yards/Game (Oklahoma Mateer is #1, Stockton is #8)
• Aguilar is ranked #11 nationally in Yards/Game
• Aguilar is ranked #5 in passer rating in the SEC (Alabama Simpson is #1, Stockton is #10)
• Aguilar is ranked #20 nationally in passer rating
• In rushing stats, Star Thomas (#9) and DeSean Bishop (#11) are ranked above GAs Frazier (#15) in the SEC

Aguilar had an iconic performance against Georgia but the sad thing is that it won't be remembered due to taking the L. If we somehow survive, I think Aguilar would be at Hendon Hooker level status. We still have a long season ahead though for Aguilar to continue to shine.
