Rewatching our offense against UGA this morning. The biggest thing that stood out to me is how different our offense looked from years past. While the pace is still there, the formations and strategy has completely shifted. This is the offense I think we wanted to run last year with Nico, but struggled to. We saw some against Syracuse, but we really flexed against UGA this weekend. Shout out to the OL as well, as Aguilar was basically untouched all game.

Condensed sets, TE play, new screens, etc. We can attack defenses anywhere on the field. Not only that, but we have some WRs that are willing to jump up and fight for a ball downfield.

The national media and other coaches may still use that "gimmick" line against us, but the tape is showing how advanced our scheme is now. UGA eventually had some answers, but we were able to counter through them later in the game.

Incredible work by Heupel and Halze. I think we should put the gimmick crap to bed: this is a legit offense that will give a lot of defenses issues this year.
