Yeah I’d agree except miss state head coach runs heups scheme and we practice against it and know it well… also Joey Ag is seasoned and I feel a lot more confident about his ability to go on the road and play well due his calm cool demeanor… but there are some games on the schedule that will be tougher then we thought during the preseason… we absolutely can win out but we have to bring it every game and I think this team will still play with that chip every game..A lot more on the schedule than Alabama. A win against Oklahoma may end up being worth a lot more if they continue to perform. A win against Vanderbilt (yes, Vanderbilt) may also end up being worth a lot more if they continue to perform. Maybe more if other teams also continue to play well.
That said, if Tennessee wants to be in the playoffs, then they have to win every game from here on out. 10-2 guarantees nothing. Just puts you in the mix to be picked.
It starts with Mississippi State in two weeks, who'll almost certainly be 4-0, undefeated, playing at home, and looking to make a statement against the Vols in Starkville. Heupel's strugglebus games have always come on the road. I wouldn't for one second be looking past that game in Starkville. Not for one second.
Let's just hope the GA game was a 2 for 1, we haven't beat them in years and with the way it ended we should've won.Don’t forget to pencil that one game each we lose that we’re not supposed to!
Yep, seems there are more candidates this year than last for that. Miss St. Arky and Vanderbilt could all beat us. OU, Bama and UF are all going to be tough games. The offense should give us a chance to win any game left on the schedule. But the defense is gonna have to come on for us to have any shot at making the playoff.Don’t forget to pencil that one game each we lose that we’re not supposed to!
When I was 20, lulz! When was the last time we beat Florida at the Swamp?
