Question about todays game

I let my roommates change the channel at halftime cause we had a big lead and they didnt wanna watch it anymore. I missed the 2nd half and it looks like we let them score more than i think they should have. My question is did we let off the gas in 2nd half or did we play 2 and 3rd stringers or what happened?

Everyone played that weren't injured so a lot of 3rh and 4th stringers played. They needed to play to gain some film. But it's a drop off after Aguilar that's for sure.

I would have told them they can check their phones for their game if they want. Not changing the channel.

Anyway, they played a lot of 2s and 3s back there in the second half apparently.

They pulled so many people I think some of our commits played in today’s game.

Mostly third and fourth sting played.

Morris looked good at RB. The freshman TE looked good as well imo.

Merk had one pretty throw. The rest was terrible; looks like we’re in deep trouble if Joey goes down.

That’s mostly the second half in a nutshell

For those automatically writing off Merklinger? Ask yourself where Hooker and AGUILAR were as true or redshirt freshmen. We discounted Aguilar because he wasn’t highly recruited (or recruited whatsoever) but failed to realize the best quality in a Heupel quarterback is COACHABILITY. Nothing in that department has eliminated Merk as a future prospect. Is GMac or Fabian going to leapfrog him on talent and promise alone? We went down that road with Milton and Nico and somehow didn’t learn.
