Can’t imagine he stays there when the ACC crumbles in a few years—some to the SEC, Big 10, and Big 12 and then schools like Syracuse, Wake Forest, and Boston College merge with some or all of The American. Maybe they try to take some Big East schools and bring them in for everything except football like Grand Canyon and Gonzaga have done.Still can’t figure out what happens to Duke.

Duke will have the same thing happen to it as Wake Forest. At best, they’ll end up possibly with a Big 12 invite (unless NC State ends up there because the SEC invites UNC).

I thought the North Carolina education department has pretty much said they are a package deal. Maybe UNC starts out as a full member in the SEC/Big 10 and NC State has a 5-7 year period until they are a full member. I believe that was done with Nebraska, Rutgers, and Maryland. Might have been done with Penn State and Missouri too.

I will be interested to see how they do the remainder of the season after Angeli's injury yesterday. They kept the fight going at Clemson after the QB went down. I hope they win out hahahaha
also thought they might show up in the Top 25, but they only got 4 votes, probably because of what happened at QB for them.

They have not.

Also, while I’m only mostly sure it was not done with Penn State, I know it was not with the SEC and Missouri.

Did the SEC do that with Arkansas?
I am pretty sure they did not (and I’m having difficulty with anything suggesting that they did).

The Big 10 did it with some of their newer members (and the ACC has done it more recently with its recent members, though I’m unsure if Cal, Stanford, and SMU actually got that junior designation or just agreed to receive less conference revenue initially).

SMU is an interesting case—they voluntarily agreed to NO television money for the first NINE years in the ACC, but their donations and ticket sales have skyrocketed. Of course, who knows if they will even be in the ACC nine years from now.

Vols getting the benefits from beating the Cuse as they have turned out to be a pretty good team and LSU got a lot of mileage from beating Clemson 1st game of the season when Clemson ranked very high. Strange how the polls work sometimes.

If the Cuse can keep winning, Vols SOS improves.

I hope Florida doesn’t hire him.

If they win 8 this year, I doubt he is there next year.

I think 8-4 is very reasonable for Syracuse now. Winnable games include Duke, SMU, Pitt, UNC, and Boston College. They will have a tougher time with Georgia Tech, Miami, and Notre Dame. 8-4 with their schedule would be an accomplishment. And this would be great for UT.
