I hate everything about college football right now. Take that crap somewhere else
If you want to win, you better be all about the cash.Wonder how much it would be, and if we could make a fan-run fundraiser to keep the damn things off the uniforms.
This is such a disaster. As much as so many love Danny White he's about nothing but the cash, so you know he's going to be all over this BS.
Yeah. They didn't care at all about making money in 2019.It's never going back, man. They will never stop. Now that they've taken the "college" out of "college football," it's full speed ahead. Err, down. They've completely oriented around one thing alone - profit - and none of the big dogs are going to be the first to blink. They'll just keep outdoing themselves with how far they take it.
The Million Dollar Man was right. Everybody's got a price.

One of my favorite lines from people goes something like "That's why tickets are so expensive - it's because they're paying the coach $10m/year."LOL. They'd take your fundraiser money - and then sell the patches anyway. And you know it.
He’s all about the cash because that’s what it takes to be an elite athletic program these days. I hate it, too, but it’s the only way we’re going to be able to be competitive on the national scene, which we all want.Wonder how much it would be, and if we could make a fan-run fundraiser to keep the damn things off the uniforms.

Do you really believe that DW didn’t see this coming and demand that the Addidas contract allow him to patch up the uniforms?A potential holdup would be the exclusivity clauses in schools’ contracts with apparel partners. Brands such as Adidas, Nike and Under Armour do not allow marks of other corporate sponsors on the uniforms they supply to schools.
Learfield and other stakeholders have had promising conversations with the apparel companies to ease that restriction. Learfield in December announced a program that would provide additional marketing opportunities for the apparel providers in exchange for allowing other jersey patches. Nike and Under Armour did not respond to requests for comment and adidas declined to comment.
It's what it has always taken to be an elite athletic program. When have the Little Sisters of the Poor won national titles? He’s all about the cash because that’s what it takes to be an elite athletic program these days. I believe you're being naive by thinking Adidas would just give that exclusively clause up.Do you really believe that DW didn’t see this coming and demand that the Addidas contract allow him to patch up the uniforms?
If he signed a contract 2 months ago that won’t allow it then I would say he is related to cornbread and I don’t believe that.
