I don't understand the negative threads about Joey...

What are you talking about? Every Tennessee fan I know is very happy with Joey Aguilar and so am I. If the receivers help him out, he has 3 more touchdown passes and 3 less interceptions this year. We have problems, but he is not one of them. Without him, we are a 6 maybe 7 win team. Also he lead us on what should have been a game winning drive against Georgia. Our QB has done enough to have us undefeated to this point.

I mean there were a few high passes but mostly it was a crap load of completely inexplicable drops and the interceptions came from balls that were tipped up in the air by our receivers.

My only problem with Joey is that he doesnt have another year to stay here. Goodness, if we had Joey last year instead of Nico, we would have been close to an NC.

There are multiple critical posts from yesterday. The truth needs to drown them out.

It’s CJH’s system that’s helping him. It has helped all of the QB’s when they arrived here and showed how it helped the one that left here as the ones before had no success and the one that left is terrible.

One or two threads generated by knuckleheads are still just a couple knuckleheads. And a small faction being overly critical. It's not an epidemic.

Overwhelmingly, VN is giving JA well-earned kudos, as he's surpassed anyone's early expectations.
And there are a couple things he can improve on, and I bet he'd be the first to say it.

Literally a guy with no NFL aspirations until coming to TN. Now, if he can improve those things and have a good season, he's probably a draft choice.
Great story and a guy anyone can't help but like.

Does the Diego law suit against the NCAA for Vandy have any bearing on Joey?

Not bad for someone who just a few years ago was considering hanging up his cleats for good and becoming a firefighter

thats what I've been wondering. I read somewhere that if not for the Diego stuff happening last year, Joey wouldn't have been able to play this year. So its leads me to wonder if Diego is successful, that could give Joey another year possibly?
