All you Boo Haters

I think he's very talented, but needs to get his head straight. If he buys into the work ethic, I think he's NFL bound. If I were Heupel, I'd work like heck...pun intended....to get him squared away on defense as soon as possible. I'd also make him the unquestioned punt and kickoff return man. Along the same lines, I'd make Spillman another rush project. Kid needs the lions share of reps next to Carter going forward. No offense to Telander, but he's a depth piece on this team.

I’m just glad he fielded a couple of punts without fumbling them. That’s progress. The one TFL he made was really good. As as long as he keeps his attitude in check, everything’s good.

I haven’t seen anyone who hates him. I think that some folks are apprehensive to go “all in” on him because there’s a decent chance that he hits the portal this winter—based on past shenanigans.

That being said, yes he is a heck of a player and I hope that he sticks with Tennessee until he’s drafted in two years.

There are some Boo haters for sure, but there are many more who think he has a very high potential and see a local kid with the potential to be great. When he underperformed early in the season, those of us in the latter group were frustrated, because we know that talent isn't the issue. Likewise, for those of us in the latter group, the last six quarters have been very encouraging because he's starting to play like the guy we think he can be, and we're rooting for the kid. We also know he can help UT if he puts in the work to be all he can be.

I hope the kid makes it. We never know what obstacles a kid had to overcome to get here. I heard Bru McCoy last year in an interview Say he had his locker next to his so he could help keep an eye on him and mentor him I think a lot of people forget he was thrown into the mix as a True freshman and sophomore this year ,,plus playing along side young players in the defensive backfield this year with all the injuries.

It's not Boo Heaters, its everyone has standards and he's not bought into the Vol Way. It's still his way. He's coming around and had a good game, but it is a lifestyle of selfless service and not selfish service.

Has anyone noticed when Boo makes a big play none of the players hype him up? I keep thinking with every week that it will change
Jason Swain said last week to Josh Ward, to watch when players make gold plays, if Boo was celebrating with them or vise versa. I forgot to watch but Swain was making it a very big point to keep an eye on.
