More often than most would preferā¦Are they ever unsuccessful?

āThe study findings indicated that NFL players are severely affected by ACL injury, with only 28.5% still active in the league 3 years after the injury. Running backs, defensive linemen, and linebackers performed the worst after injury. Quarterbacks were most likely to return to play and had superior postinjury performance compared with the other positions.ā
He usually has the inside scoop on players so I got my fingers crossed.
I could see him doing poorly at Bama since its just likely his 2nd game back.I think many forget that Zakai Ziegler was very much an astonishment with his return from ACL injury. I wonāt get my hopes too high on McCoy.
I agree how effective could he be if he hasnāt practiced live yet. Even if he gets cleared this week is one week of practice enough to get him into game shape.just FYI
He still has not had contact and he has not been cleared by doctors. He defnitely wants to play but its questionable (in my mind) how effective he can be with not having contact since last year. How many snaps can he play? If he goes against Arkansas, it will really have to be limited just due to his inactivity. JMO
I wouldnāt worry so much about his ability to defend a pass as I worry that he may struggle to make an open field tackle.I could see him doing poorly at Bama since its just likely his 2nd game back.
The good news is that after that is Kentucky and Florida with really bad offenses, Oklahoma who may not have Mateer back (cant run the ball as it is).
So if they can just survive Bama's passing game, the only for sure high passing offense that he needs to be top notch is the last game vs Pavia. Him being 80% until then isnt the end of the world. By then, Redman should be much improved too.
This is me guessing Gibson isnt playing at all this year.
Hope he plays but both Price and Hubbs said he hasnāt gone thru full contact, yet, which is a āmustā before he is cleared to play in a game.He and Hobbs will both play vs Arkansas. McCoy practiced last week and is full go this week.
