I honestly didn't even realize this. We've lost 4 straight in this series, not sure how that's even possible.

Not gonna lie, this could definitely be a trap game with Ala up the following weekend. And no, I'm not saying we lose. I don't see a 4 TD blowout either. A desperate Arkansas team and a possible look ahead game for us is never a great recipe. I'm saying we win in the 14-17 pt range.

Spread is 13 for a reason...

I don't see the Vols overlooking an SEC opponent. That said, I don't know much about the Razorbacks. I'm assuming they aren't very good based off the way ND beat their asses.

Outside of that thrashing by ND, they are two fumbles from being 4-1. They nearly beat Ole Miss, who is currently ranked 4th. They fumbled the game away against Memphis too.

People again get WAY overconfident when they see a multi loss team coming to Neyland.

Where’s the “what other message boards are saying thread”?? But yes losing 4 in a row to Ark is rough, especially considering 2 of those we had the significantly better team (15’ and last year). Need that trend to end this year. I think we score about as many points as we want to. Question how many will they score??

Of the 4 straight, 2011 and 2020 are whatever, to me. Those UT teams sucked and they were on the road in Fayetteville. 2020, I believe Harrison Bailey was playing and Pruitt was dead man walking already. The 2011 team is probably the second worst team that UT has put on the field in my lifetime (2017 was easily the worst, of course). Also, 2011 Arkansas was a really good team. One of the best they’ve ever had and they won a NY6 bowl that year.

2015 and 2024 are the inexcusable ones. 2015, in particular. 2015 was at home (I was unfortunately in attendance) against a mediocre at best Arkansas team that had lost 3 straight games coming in, including to Toledo, and that was a really good UT team. No excuse. Butch choked and it was clearly a harbinger of things to come. 2024 was on the road, but Arkansas was terrible. We let their backup QB who couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn drive all the way to the end zone. Inexcusable loss.

I don't think the Vols are over confident. Some fans may be though.

History aside, last year is why I am concerned. We had no business losing last year. I think they improved more than we did simply because they had more ceiling than us. This game is going to be tight.

Our offense this year is light years ahead of last year's. It's the 22 offense all over again. Last year we didn't have a QB. Now we do. Big difference.

if we let this Arkansas team hang around us at home we are truly awful. we should be winning this game by 21+ points and Aguilar should be done by the 4th quarter.

IMO anything short of that is an immense failure of coaching.

I see us starting super hot (like we did against Georgia) except Arkansas doesn't have the ability to come back on us like Georgia.

I think it's 35-10 at the half, 49-17 at the end of the 3rd, final score 52-27. we give up 10 in the 4th quarter with our 2nd and 3rd string in.

I still don’t know how we lost the 2015 game. Just an absolute master class in dumb **** by Butch and Jancek. Lost 3 games that year when we were more than an 80% favorite in the fourth quarter.

I was there for that one — rainy day/night. Evan Berry took back the opening kick and we were riding high.

The 2nd half Fat Bert Beilema took Butch to school. Terrible.
