Hyatt expected to start/play tonight for Giants

Hyatt isn’t a big wr and doesn’t have the agility and elusiveness of wrs his size.
The route tree stuff is still silly to me. Look at nextgen and other stats for a player like Cooper Kupp and the routes a lot of WRs run now. The tree is just out, in, slant, post etc etc. There’s not a D1 wr who didn’t learn the routes in HS and/or 7 v 7. Some wrs just don’t have the feet to change speed and direction and explode out of a break. If they all did, none would stand out.

13-3 Giants and I don't think I've seen him on the field yet.
He finally got in for the last play of the first quarter. His only play so far. On a side note, this is first time I've focused on Abdul Carter play. Surprised to see he regularly quits on the play as soon as his first effort doesn't produce. I'm not impressed with him.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey was signed off the practice squad this week and already has more targets than Hyatt does on the season. Pretty clear the Giants are done with JH.
Because he can’t consistently get separation or catch the football.

He’s big and fast enough but his hands are too shaky. He double caught footballs at Tennessee too.

Dropped 3 balls at his NFL Combine??
Dropped balls all preseason.

I have nothing against the kid. It is what it is…
