Total number of Scholarships for 2026

How many total scholarships can each SEC team have in 2026. In 2025 its 85. What about 2026. Isnt it supposed to be 105 for next season? Amd how many players will Vols ultimately sign in December?

The belief is that it will go to 105. With the NCAA sanctions, that would put the Vols at 103. Obviously, nobody knows exactly how many players the Vols will sign in December. The class looks close to finished, though. May add a couple more. Then there are portal dudes.

Some will portal out, so I don’t think they’re too concerned about running up against the 103 limit.

Wouldn't Tennessee want to get near 100 on scholarship? And are walk-ons going to be allowed with the new scholarship numbers?
