I know no one cares.

- Heupel has brought the program back from the dead. Respect to him.

- He still has weaknesses. We all do. Heupel has to figure out his composure in tough road environments. He looks rattled and coaches like it.

- Props to the players for playing hard until the end.

- Bishop is a stud.

- Tennessee has had one respectable defense in the past 5 years. It's time to move on from Banks IMO.

- Tennessee football is good right now. Fix the road issues and the time management and we will all be happy.

- I still think this team can finish 9-3. I'm counting Florida as a loss. I don't care. It's Florida and it's on the road.

The I think if I was a head coach, I would’ve fired the guy on the spot. Dude, you are a big-time college coordinator and you’re acting like some stupid fan in the stands.

The dumbest call I can remember. Worst formation, play call etc. Nothing, nothing made sense about it. You run that call on second down w/ a timeout still in your back pocket bc at least they have to play the run. Not one single guy bit on the PA bc the entire stadium and anyone else w/ a football brain knew we were going to throw it. It still infuriates me.

In addition to the call sucking the QB has to see that he can’t throw it. Totally blew that moment unfortunately

Although we made tons of mistakes which ultimately cost us the game, I saw a few positives. We had more yards (passing and rushing) than Bama, proving we still have a potent offense overall. Yes, our offense implodes at times and I'm as frustrated as everyone else that coaches don't fix that. Joey came back after throwing the pick 6 and didn't give up. I know he was hurting from that neck injury but he showed toughness. CJH was more of a gambling man several times and went for it on fourth down. Maybe he's learning that conservative coaching in big games rarely pays off. I truly think we could have squeaked out a win were it not for several key mistakes (pick 6, poor tackling, stupid penalties, clock mgt, etc.)

I still remember the Butch Jones debacle on the one yard line when we came out in the shotgun. Tim Priest probably got him fired over that.

Even with the poor tackling, stupid penalties, clock mgt, etc. we would have been in this game until the end if we had scored a touchdown from the one yard line instead of giving up the pick 6. We would have only been down by 2 at the half and both teams scored 2 touchdowns in the second half. That one play changed the entire game for us. The worst case scenario happened on one play. Despite the final score Alabama did not dominate us as many seem to believe.

Can’t disagree with any of it! I would also add that he needs to develop a killer instinct or we are never going to make it to the pinnacle.
Hype screwed that up when we had the ball after the fumble and he got conservative. You put too much work into this not to give your team and staff the best chance to win. We should have beaten Georgia and would be in a better spot. I am really disappointed in Hype and offensive staff this year regarding mishandling clock management and play calling in critical spots this year. You need to have safe play calls for certain situations on that play card. I know they do but they are not pulling the right strings. Very disappointing and frustrating because they have been in every game until this past saturday at the end. You go in 16-14 or 16-10 you still are in it. I also go back to that ridiculolus offensive hold those crooked gump refs called to back our ass up which was bull. To put the criminal tide in a better spot. It is ridiculous we had this terrible crew calling such a big game when they screwed Auburn earlier this year at Oklahoma.
