We lost this game by 3 scores. So it would have taken at least 2 plays to go differently just to beat Bama. Two plays kept us from being 7-0 and probably be ranked #1 or #2 in the nation.Im looking forward to the Kentucky game.

I agree that if the score was different at that point, Bama would have been playing it differently to keep us from scoring. But it’s weird that the play was not reviewed as close as it was, and a score there would have affected the over/under in the betting markets. (Dave Portnoy was correct in saying it should have been reviewed.)Well the final score was 37-20. The pick six was a 14 point swing. We score and Bama doesn’t score makes it 30-27. I’ll let them keep the crazy safety. We finished the game on the one yard line (similar fiasco to clock management like before half). If we punch that in we win. However both Bama and the refs had backed off by then. They both would have been more aggressive had we kept it close. I agree that we beat ourselves more than anything else in our 2 losses
This is why I don't center my mental well being around Vol football. or any sport. We're 2-3 plays in either direction from total meltdown and humiliating disaster or being top 2 in the country and probably running the table in the regular season . Literally. It's nuts and not worth the stress. Just enjoy the damn games folks and save yourselves the early strokes. It's a game . That's all.We lost this game by 3 scores. I no longer bet on SEC games. I haven’t for several years now. Why? Officiating offsets the line waaaaaaaaaay too often to be coincidental. Somebody needs to look at relatives of SEC officials for discrepancies imo.I agree that if the score was different at that point, Bama would have been playing it differently to keep us from scoring. Leads me to believe you’re a fool if you’re betting on college sports. Way too many games being affected by bad, no, atrocious, officiating.
