This is perfect, no other option ever made any sense whatsoever. Danny White doesn't seem to want to spend like a drunken sailor on baseball so the (very few) super elite coaches out there either are priced out or wouldn't consider the role in general, while the "diamond in the rough" approach is objectively the guy already on your staff who most closely emulates the man that built Tennessee baseball from the ashes.
