We have moe underclassmen with decisions to make this offseason than we've had in a long time. The candidates to leave early for the draft are:

1) Jermod McCoy
2) Colton Hood
3) Lance Heard
4) Arion Carter
5) Chris Brazzell
6) Wendell Moe, Jr.

Rickey Gibson would have been on this list, but for the injury. Now, he returns top college.

McCoy, Hood, and Brazzell are all almost certain to leave. Heard is probably leaving. Guessing it's about 50/50 for Carter. No idea about Moe.

The thing about Moe and Heard....I haven't really seen either listed highly on draft boards, but Heard has been presumed to go all season. And he's played well.

I remember in 2022 that Darnell didn't shoot up the draft boards until the end of the year. I think Heard could be a first or second rounder

Side note: Heard must be ecstatic that he left that dumpster fire at LSU.

At one point this season, I was resigned to losing all 6 of those guys. I still think we lose 4, maybe all 6. Moe and Carter are the only ones I am hopeful of returning. I haven’t seen anything on Moe re: his draft projection. He’s a Guard, which obviously makes him less valuable than he would be as a Tackle.

I agree! I think Brazzell could be WR #1 too.

Bud Elliot, on the cover 3 podcast, has historically criticized the Tennessee offense. Multiple times this year, he mentioned how we have incorporated more pro style elements and that he likes what we do now.

If Brazzell is drafted as WR #1, And he does well, the whole narrative about this offense could drastically change!

Coming off the board in this order..... Yes, I know JJ is not an underclassman. Just looking at what order these guys get drafted.

1) McCoy
2) Hood
3) Brazzell
4) Josephs

Heard will be interesting. Prior to the season the thought was he plays well enough to get drafted or he portals out due to his current high price tag. He has played well, but where does he project?

No worry. We will replace all of them quality players.

I dont think Moe and Carter go from the initial list. I think everyone else does and Gibson either goes or transfers. Boo can kick rocks. He should have been punted back before the season started.

Before he leaves, he should thank Heupel by calling his 5 star friends at LSU and letting them know how great it is in Knoxville.
