Howland and Simmons are starters/key contributor. Others are mainly depth. They started two true freshmen on the o-line against Ole Miss. Lewis is starting WR and missed the Ole Miss game too.Thats a lot of OL to be on the injury report. Are any of them starters/key contributors?
He has had turf toe for a couple of weeks and has been playing with it. His pain tolerance must be thru the roof or they're doing a massive needle job on him.Sic the dogs on the pass rush and hide the bad secondary play. Pulverize Mateer. Try to keep him hemmed in. BTW I don't see how Arion Carter can play if he has turf toe.
I am not entirely sure but it is never a good thing to have 4 OL out for any game and another questionable to play. Some other poster in this thread mentioned that OU will be playing two freshmen OTs.I’m curious as to who the injured OL are or more importantly, where were they on Oklahoma’s two deep? Are they down 3 starters or 1 starter and 2 backups?
A third of those sacks were against Auburn. It’s still good, but I feel like their #’s are inflated a little bit.A few other statistical nuggets:
Oklahoma nationally -
#2 in sacks (29)
#86 in sacks allowed (17)
#1 in tackles for loss
turnover margin -6 to Tennessee's +4
#7 for 3rd down defense
Elite punter but just #45 for net punting (#110 in punt return D with 1 TD allowed)
It's called "Draftitise"..McCoy the everlasting injury
WhyIt's called "Draftitise"..
SIDE EFFECTS INCLUDE: Loss of fan support, Newly tagged as "not a Team player', Sophomore #s just don't hit the level needed, Lack of effort to get back on the field, Anal Leakage, Hallucinations of being a 1st Round selection in reality becoming a 6th Rounder at $4M less for the Rookie Contract, Hanger-onners take you for LOTS of $ before you have ANY real $, and...You end up on the Cleveland Browns!
