Any ideas or rumors? Just thinking how we can get better on defense with players because coaches aren't going to improve on field play this season. He was such a bright spot.

After last night there is no incentive for him to play a single snap in the remaining 3 games unless he is a glutton for punishment

No never was going to anyway. Paid to sit the bench. I get he's hurt and got hurt while playing for Tennessee. Wish it had gone differently. For him and the team. Hope he can get back to where he was in the NFL.

I would not play if I were him. Risk versus reward. He already has his NIL money, too late in the season to increase his NFL stock. I would keep my money in the bank and start preparing for the combine.

At this point there’s no reason for him to. The idea of needing to put post-injury film out to prove he hasn’t lost a step carries more risk than reward.

Wrong question. No way he's playing. He's done playing for Tennessee.

Anyway that's the wrong question. The question now is - how many other players will start "taking a step back" in terms of their play, now that Tennessee's out of the hunt.

He could play and it not count towards a season but, yeah, it’s not happening. I hate to think it, but if we make that kick against UGA maybe it’s different. I’m assuming it’s a choice not to play though, maybe he’s had setbacks. Not sure.

i mean i would kill for him to come back but it would be a pretty penny.

right now, I'm doubtful he gives it a try. There is nothing for him to gain UNLESS he is 100% healthy. If he continues to have swelling / discomfort in that knee, he should not try. He has still not participated in any contact. He won't play until that happens IMO
